A travel agent who knows wedding logistics
I work alongside wedding planners and coordinators, not instead of them. They handle the ceremony. I handle everything that gets your people there, keeps them comfortable, and sends them home happy.
Destination weddings
I'm Kristy Contreras, a Virtuoso-affiliated luxury travel advisor and a destination wedding travel agent. I plan resort weddings, beach ceremonies, and Las Vegas weddings end to end: room blocks, guest flights, welcome dinners, the honeymoon, and every logistical detail in between, plus perks you cannot get on your own.

I work alongside wedding planners and coordinators, not instead of them. They handle the ceremony. I handle everything that gets your people there, keeps them comfortable, and sends them home happy.
Groups of ten rooms or more get a negotiated block: one rate, one cutoff date, one booking link your guests can actually use. I read the attrition clauses so you don't get charged for rooms nobody filled.
Daily breakfast for two, resort credits, room upgrades when available, and early check-in at the top resort properties, at the same rate you would pay booking direct.
Spring break, holiday weekends, high season, and local festivals can double your room rate overnight. I check the calendar against your dates before you commit to anything.
Flights from six different cities, airport transfers, welcome dinners, day activities for guests who arrived early, and a farewell brunch. One plan, one point of contact, not a group text chain at midnight.
Your wedding trip does not have to end at the reception. I build the honeymoon into the same plan, whether it starts at the same resort or on a different continent entirely.
Every wedding is built from scratch, but these are the ones couples ask for by name.
All-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, Strip hotels in Las Vegas, cliffside villas in Italy, and boutique properties everywhere in between. I source the venue, negotiate the room block, and manage the guest experience from arrival to departure.
I live here. Chapel bookings, Red Rock and Valley of Fire ceremonies, guest room blocks, rehearsal dinners, and the honeymoon that starts without a second flight. Las Vegas is the easiest destination wedding city in the country, and I know it block by block.
Caribbean resorts, Mexican Riviera properties, Hawaiian beaches, and overwater bungalows in Tahiti. I handle the resort contract, the guest room block, the flights, and the legal paperwork your destination requires.
Tuscan villas, Amalfi Coast terraces, Scottish castles, and Greek island chapels. Multi-country guest travel, villa sourcing, local vendor coordination, and the train tickets that get everyone to the right town on the right day.
You picked the chapel. Now someone has to get thirty people here, into rooms they can afford, and out the door on time. That part is my job.

I handle everything travel-related so your wedding planner can focus on the ceremony and the reception. That means sourcing the resort or hotel, negotiating the room block and group rate, booking flights for you and your guests, arranging airport transfers, coordinating welcome dinners and day-after brunches, planning guest activities, and building the honeymoon. I am the single point of contact for every guest who has a question about how to get there, where to stay, or what to do when they arrive.
For most resort and hotel weddings, my planning is complimentary: I am compensated by the hotel or resort at the same rate you would pay booking direct, and you usually get added perks on top. Complex custom itineraries, multi-country European weddings, and large guest groups carrying a planning fee are quoted up front after the intake call, so there are never surprise charges.
For a resort wedding in Mexico or the Caribbean with twenty or fewer guests, six to nine months is comfortable. For forty or more guests, a European destination, or peak season anywhere, start nine to twelve months out. Room blocks at the best properties get committed early, and the flights your guests need (especially from smaller airports) get more expensive the longer they wait.
Las Vegas (where I live and work as a local advisor), Mexico and the Caribbean (all-inclusive resorts, boutique hotels, and private villas), Hawaii, Italy, France, Greece, the UK, and anywhere else your guest list can reasonably reach. If a destination makes sense for your group size and budget, I can plan it. If it does not, I will tell you before you fall in love with a venue you cannot get your people to.
Yes, that is most of the job. For ten rooms or more, I bid the block out to multiple properties, bring you three options with real rates, and negotiate the contract before you sign. Your guests get a single booking link that drops their reservation into the block automatically. I also track the pickup so you are not on the hook for unsold rooms, and I handle the guests who will not book online and need someone to call.
No. Guests pay the same rate they would get booking the hotel directly, and usually less, because the group rate I negotiate is lower than what the public sees. Nobody is forced to book through me. Guests who prefer to use their own points, a different hotel, or their own airline are welcome to, and I will still share the welcome dinner, transfer, and activity details with them. The room block simply gives everyone a protected rate and one person to call if plans change.
I research and walk you through the legal requirements for your destination (marriage license, waiting periods, document translation, apostilles, witness requirements), and I connect you with the local officiant or coordinator who handles the actual paperwork. In Las Vegas specifically, a Clark County marriage license is $102 with no waiting period and no blood test, and you can start the application online before you arrive. For international destinations, the timeline and document requirements vary, and I make sure you know them before you book.
You have my phone number and WhatsApp the entire time. A flight cancels the day before, a guest misses their connection, the resort overbooks a room type, the welcome dinner venue changes the time, I handle the rebooking and the calls. That is the difference between a travel agent and a booking site: when something goes sideways at a destination wedding, you need a person, not a help desk.
Book a complimentary intake call. We talk through your destination ideas, your guest count, your budget, and your timeline, then I come back with a plan and two or three property options. Nothing is booked until you approve it.
